Hand Print Fall Tree

This project is one of Broogly's favorite - a great hand print activity for fall laden with autumn colors. But what makes it extra special is that kids don't just get to paint their hand - they get to paint their entire arm, making this a super fun project for toddlers and preschoolers!

Materials

  • Paint - Poster or Tempura (in brown and fall colors)
  • Paint Brushes
  • Paper

Instructions

    1. Paint the child's hand and up to their elbow in brown paint.
    2. Have the child place their hand and arm on the paper - forming a tree shape
    3. Put some red, orange and yellow paint in 3 small pots. Have the child make finger / thumb prints all over the fingers of the hand print - making the leaves of the tree.
