Salad Spinner Art
You can create a spin art painting using a kitchen salad spinner: and if you use washable paints, you shouldn't have any trouble continuing to use it for your salads too!

Materials
- Paper
- Salad Spinner
- Washable Paint
Instructions
- Cut some circles out of the paper so that they just fit in the base of the salad spinner basket
- Squirt dollups of paint on top of the paper
- Put the lid of the salad spinner on and set it spinning as fast as you can.
- Remove the lid and carefully remove the art taking care to keep it horizontal until it has dried.
Tips
- You can pick up salad spinners for a few dollars if you don't want to risk contaminated salad!
- We found this worked best if the initial spin was as fast as possible!
- If you aren't entirely satisfied with the first spin, you can add more paint and spin again!
